PointShot Wireless annonce la nomination de Michael R. McDonnell comme COO

PointShot Wireless, the leading supplier of wireless Internet access on board trains in North America, today announced the appointment of Michael R. McDonnell as Chief Operating Officer. Mr. McDonnell has previously held senior positions in companies in the Ottawa area, including Fluorosense, WorldHeart, Cary Peripherals and Spar.
“Mike’s background in operations and manufacturing provide a great addition to the PointShot Wireless executive team as it moves forward in completing North America’s first major rollout.” said Shawn Griffin, President and CEO. “Mike will be focused on delivering our products to the marketplace and providing first class customer support”.
PointShot Wireless announced last November that that it had been selected as the equipment provider for VIA Rail. This is the first large scale deployment of wireless internet on trains in North America, and is one of the world’s largest.
