Skywave annonce la nomination d’un nouvel exécutif résultat de l’expansion de ses opportunités d’affaires sur une base mondiale

Ottawa, Ontario - November 29, 2006 - SkyWave Mobile Communications, the leading worldwide distributor of D+ satellite communications products and services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dan Poirier to the position of Vice President of Sales. In this role, Mr. Poirier is responsible for development and execution of SkyWave’s global sales strategy.
SkyWave is the industry leader in D+ satellite terminal sales with over 75,000 terminals shipped and deployed for wide-ranging applications in the world's most challenging environments. With an expanding partner channel of global service providers, this addition to the SkyWave executive management team will ensure SkyWave is well positioned to meet rising demand for its product and service offerings.
Mr. Poirier holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and an MBA from Queen’s University. He commands over 20 years of experience in international high technology markets, focused on sales, marketing, business development and product management. His previous international industry experience includes postings in Singapore and the UK. Prior to joining SkyWave, Mr. Poirier served as Vice President of the HealthCare Security division at VeriChip Corporation, where he was a key member of the management team and was responsible for driving the company's global leadership in the healthcare security market. During his tenure at VeriChip, Mr. Poirier successfully integrated product portfolios acquired as a result of a merger while delivering consistent revenue growth.
